We help purpose-driven professionals improve their presence, peace, and productivity so they can have, do, and be more of what matters.
More of What Matters is a neuroscience-backed training and implementation program for purpose-driven professionals.
Mindfulness is “paying attention to the present moment, on purpose, with curiosity and non-judgement“.
We define mindful leadership as “the practice of leading with presence, intentionality, and compassion“. It involves being aware of one’s own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and understanding how they impact others.
Mindful leaders make conscious decisions, navigate challenging situations with ease, and foster an environment that values well-being, continuous learning, and mutual respect.
This approach allows leaders to thrive personally and professionally, expand their impact, and create sustainable success.
In our mindful leadership and well-being program, we teach you how to live and lead in a more mindful and sustainable way by combining leadership development with holistic well-being practices.
After 20 years in the Air Force and over 2 decades of teaching leadership and well-being to high-achievers at every level of leadership, I’ve figured out how to train clients in a way that’s simple and effective.
In More of What Matters: Mindful Leadership & Well-Being Program you will learn how to integrate mindfulness into your leadership and into your life… YES, even you overthinkers who feel like your brain never slows down.
Additionally, you will learn how to leverage emotional intelligence, improve boundaries and communication, and create work-life harmony so you can sustain high-performance without burning out.
If you are ready to live and lead in a way that’s aligned with what’s most important to you, this is your personal invitation to join More of What Matters.
Maintaining clarity around your values, vision, strengths, and goals is essential for living and leading with intention and purpose. Regularly reflecting on what truly matters to you makes it easier to make decisions that align with your authentic self, leading to greater fulfillment in both your personal and professional life. This clarity helps you set meaningful goals, prioritize effectively, and take actions that move you closer to your vision. By understanding your strengths, you can focus on the areas where you can have the most impact, leading to higher performance and a sense of accomplishment. As a leader, clarity in these areas grounds you and inspires those around you, fostering a culture of impact and excellence.
Optimizing your well-being is key to sustaining high performance without sacrificing your health or relationships. When you prioritize self-care, energy management, and work-life harmony, you create a foundation for long-term success. By developing habits that support your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well-being, you not only enhance your own performance but also set a positive example for others. This holistic approach to success ensures that you avoid burnout and maintain the energy and focus needed to excel in all areas of life. Leaders who invest in their well-being are more effective, resilient, and able to lead from a place of strength and stability, creating a ripple effect of well-being for those around them.
Being able to regulate your nervous system and emotions is a powerful skill that allows you to stay clear, focused, and present, even in the face of challenges. Emotional intelligence and the ability to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively are critical for effective leadership and decision-making. When you have tools to manage stress and emotions—such as mindfulness practices and boundary-setting—you create a sense of inner stability that enables you to navigate high-pressure situations with grace. This not only improves your own well-being but also creates a more supportive and harmonious environment, fostering safety, trust, and collaboration with those around you.
Embracing continuous learning and connection is essential for staying adaptable, innovative, and inspired. In today’s fast-paced world, the ability to evolve is what keeps you relevant and effective as a leader. Lifelong learning—both professionally and personally—ensures that you remain open to new ideas and opportunities. By surrounding yourself with a supportive community, you gain fresh perspectives, maintain accountability, and find inspiration through meaningful connections. Leaders who prioritize growth not only enhance their own potential but also cultivate a culture of curiosity and collaboration, empowering their teams to evolve and thrive in an ever-changing landscape.
We offer sessions at different times each week to accommodate our clients’ schedules and time zones. Sessions are typically 30-45 minutes long and held between 6:15 am and 7:30 pm ET. The schedule is shared in advance so you can plan ahead. We know our clients have full lives and are managing lots of conflicting priorities so although we offer many session options each month, there is no expectation that you attend each one. All calls are hosted on Zoom in ET and all are recorded so you have the ability to watch replays. You can see our current schedule here.
Life happens and missing calls happens. To get the best results, we recommend adding sessions to your calendar so you can attend live. However you have access to recordings and can still benefit from watching the replays. If you know that none of the typical times will work for your schedule but you know this is the right program for you, contact me at [email protected] and we can look into adding a new session time slot to accommodate your schedule.
We know that making a big commitment when you’re already overwhelmed can be a lot to take in. Our clients who achieve maximum benefits often work up to incorporating 30 minutes of self-care time per day which usually looks like meditation, journaling and/or movement, and also prioritize attending 3 group sessions per month. That said, we also recognize and firmly believe that ANY time you have to prioritize YOU is time well spent.
At Strong By Nature, we value authenticity and it would not be in integrity if we were to say that we promise or guarantee any particular outcome because whether or not you show up for yourself in this coaching program is outside of our control. That said, we wholeheartedly believe that if you commit to yourself, if you prioritize the live and/or on-demand work, and if you approach this work with an open mind and open heart… you can completely transform your life create a life if peace, presence, purpose and productivity.
Everyone’s experience is different, however all current and past clients have noticed shifts in their first week of being in the program. Sometimes the shifts are small like just feeling a little lighter because they recognize that they aren’t alone. Or going to sleep a little easier and with a little less anxiety by utilizing one of our on-demand sleep meditations. Or feeling proud of themselves for maintaining a boundary.
